Very beautiful coarse stone early Neolithic axe head, found in Yorkshire, England. Beautiful and defined sharpened blade with pointed butt for hafting into handle. Early museum collection marking on the reverse side, and later from a good English/Canadian lithic collection. Displayed on contemporary metal stand.
