Incredibly beautiful tapestry showing three characters, believed to be Jesus with Judas and Saint Peter. Large tapestry measuring almost 5' by 4', instantly brings such interest to any wall it is hung upon. These were often hung in both royal and peasant homes, layered atop one another prior to the use of wallpaper. Often scenes of landscape, human interaction and hunting, as well as religious allegory are shown on these beautifully woven tapestries. Acquired from a respected gallerist in France.
