Utterly incredible large Skull fragment of the long extinct Steppe Bison, or Steppe Wisent, dating to the Late Pleistocene era, between 129,000 - 11,700 years ago found in Northern Europe. A wonderfully preserved large fragment of the right side of the upper facial region as well as the entirety of the large right horn. This species was known to have been hunted and eaten by Neanderthals in the Middle Paleolithic era, depicted in early cave art drawings, before going extinct during the Late Pleistocene era’s Late Quaternary extinction event which saw the vast majority of the world’s megafauna to die off. This incredible fragment is a survivor of ancient earth, displayed now on a contemporary metal stand.
