Ex Ossibus (of the bone) first class relic of a bone purportedly from Saint Cristina The Astonishing (1150 - 1224), encased in a glass jar, surrounded by wool, covered by cloth with a wax seal. Cristina reached sainthood after being declared deceased after a seizure attack but later arose, claiming to return to earthly life in order to perform penance. While denouncing all of earthly comforts, reducing herself to living in rags, without home, she often performed acts of extreme penance like throwing herself into burning furnaces, showing no signs of burns or injury.
