Incredible and intriguing carved stone plaque, featuring engravings depicting the sun and plants. Several of these stone plaques have been found across Europe, with evidentiary link to a volcano which took place around 2910 BCE. Believed to be offerings to the Sun after the volcano-linked detrimental weather shift, farmers buried these Sun stone offerings as means to bring exposure and promote agricultural growth. This stone found in modern day Portugal, the Iberian Peninsula. Presented on a contemporary metal stand.
