Beautiful panelled constructed pine settle bench, dating to the early 19th century, of Irish origin. Well shaped wings and arms, above a box bench featuring two compartments, one with original lock box intact. Mortise and tenon construction with repairs from the mid-19th century as well as early 20th. In wonderful condition and state, ready for use. Lovely blonde toned pine, in wonderful scale in width and imposing height.
