The naive yet deeply evocative, unnerving yet beautiful depiction is set onto a 5" thick slab of marble, with an incredibly impactful weight. The marble, likely originally white with veining, has darkened over nearly 1000 years of devotional life. Presented on a contemporary metal stand.
