Beautiful 14th century vellum fragment with an incredible depiction of Knights Templar knights fighting a winged demon outside of a castle scene. Inscription in Latin above mentions the fighting of our enemies. A crude depiction, yet incredibly stunning in its naivety. Evidence of past use as book bindings for multiple books, and a life hard lived, but an incredible depth of character is shown through it. The red Maltese cross symbolizing the Knights Templar shown on the dress of the horse.
