Lovely bronze statuette from the Late Period (664 - 332 BCE) of ancient Egypt depicting Osiris, god of the underworld. A small yet incredibly beautiful depiction in mummiform, wearing an Atef crown with Uraeus as well as a false beard, holding a crook and flail. Tang at base for installation in altar or funerary niche. A stunning presence, displayed on contemporary wood stand.
