A stunning mace head, constructed and carved of granite stone or a granodiorite, exhibiting beautifully carved edging as well as centrally bored hole to affix handle to. A lovely example showing the subtle craftsmanship of the period as well as quite the enigmatic presence. Displayed on included stand.
