Incredible iron fishing harpoon, Roman in origin, found in the UK, circa 1st - 3rd century AD. A beautiful and visceral example of Roman hunting weaponry, with a stunning head and excellently detailed barb point. A scarcely found large example, mounted on modern acrylic base.
